Never Enough!

Hello everyone! Lately i was urged to write about this theme because i heard some people said so. Some people just said to me how lucky others life is, how they wish to have a life like others or even mine. How they wish they could live abroad, have own house, have a better living, how they feel bored about their lives, etc. I just want to say to these people….there are always things that are better than ours, ALWAYS! If you always see how green your neighbor’s garden without even noticing how beautiful your garden is, than you will not able to see the beauty of yours!

It becomes like a disease that we have never been satisfied of what we have, we always want more and more. It’s not a new disease. This disease of heart has been existed long time ago, and will always be there.

There are people who have job but they complain about it because their careers are stuck at some point, at the other side, there are people who wish to have any kind of job, as long as they can earn some money to make a living.

There are people who complain about how crowded their houses are, since they should live with a lot of family members, while at the other side, there are people who just wish to have a home, a shelter, no matter if they have to share spaces with others.

There are people who complain about how naughty and slow their children are, while at the other side, there are people who wish to have a child and they try so hard, any kind of treatments just to be able to have one child.

There are people who complain about the same dishes they have everyday, while at the other side there are people who just wish to have a dish for their empty stomach.

There are people who complain about how exhausted their studies are, while at the other side there are some people who dream to sit in a class and study in the university.

There are people who complain about their old car, while at the other side, there are people who always walk for more than tens of kilometer everyday and wish to have one, even an old car.

Some people complain about they don’t have new and nice things to wear when their relatives invite them to a party, while the other people might just have one piece of clothes to wear for the whole year.

There are people who complain about their fussy parents, while the other people who never know their parents wish to have one.

Some people complain about their old shoes, while the other wish to have a pair of legs to wear shoes.

If we see how adventurous our friend’s life since they post a lot of pretty holiday pictures on their social media, we might feel jealous about them and wish to have a holiday too, but at the other side, perhaps there are people who wish to have just a peace boring life rather than life in a war.

Some people complain about some unsatisfying parts of body, while other people just wish to have complete limbs.

Some people complain about their boring life, while some just wish to have a healthy normal life.

There are people who can buy everything in this world but keep feeling that they lack of everything, while there are people who just have one single clothes, eat just once a day, live in a rickety old house, but happier since they know how to be grateful of their life.

So, what’s the point?? Are we not allowed to wish something better? Yes, we are for sure! But just don’t forget to be grateful of what you have. No matter how much or many we have, we have nothing if we don’t feel grateful cause we will never feel enough. So one of the cure of this “never enough” disease is gratitude.

One thing that we should also realize is that the struggle behind every achievement. We may feel jealous when others have “more” than us, like modern house, fancy car, luxurious things, extravagant holiday, etc. We don’t know how hard they work to achieve those kinds of fancy life that we dream about. We don’t know how much they have sacrificed. Perhaps they don’t even have time for their selves or their families. Perhaps they also just want to life a simple life or just do nothing in a day.

Perhaps other’s life also isn’t better than ours, cause everyone has their own struggle. We don’t know how hard their struggle to achieve their life or to maintain their life. Since we don’t live in their shoes so we don’t exactly know what other’s struggles really are. So nobody’s life is perfect or nobody has an always wonderful life. We just see something with our own “glasses” and make our interpretation of it as “better than mine”. So instead of comparing our life to another, why don’t we try to be grateful of what we have and enjoy what we have? We might have a life that others dream about too. Why aren’t we grateful of what we have instead of always looking for something that we don’t have and then we might feel unhappy because of it. If i may say… for me, gratitudes are the source of happiness, so let us fill our heart with gratitude, because happiness is created by ourselves.

Have a blessed day dear friends! Gbu all !
